How to become a Councillor

Do you want a say within your village?

If you answered yes, then becoming a Councillor might be the thing for you!

We currently have 5 vacancies on NWPC (totalling up to 15 seats on the Council).

It might sound like a huge commitment to become a Councillor, but it can be whatever commitment you wish it to be. Council only meet once a month, usually the first Wednesday from 7pm at the Pavilion Hall. Being a Councillor gives you a voice, to speak on behalf of other residents and gives you opportunity to have a say how public money is spent, what events we have in the village, how the village could be improved.

If you would like more information call Anneka (our Clerk) for an informal chat on (01472) 822821. Or just come along to a meeting and see how it works and what we are all about! Plus there is free tea and coffee (and biscuits if your lucky!).

We're not just a Parish Council - we're a Parish Council family that really cares!
