Children's Play Areas

Where can we play?

There are 2 play areas within New Waltham. One is located at the back of the village hall on Station Road and the other is adjacent to the Pavilion Hall on St Clements Way.

NWPC manages the Pavilion play area only. The other is managed by the village hall committee, who are not part of NWPC. They are a self sufficient group that run the village hall and play area. 

Pavilion Play Area

Installed by NWPC in 2023, this play area provides a safe, gated area for all to enjoy! We are always trying to add and improve the area and keep it safe by locking the gates each evening. 

Health & Safety

Our dedicated Caretakers inspect the play area daily, weekly and monthly for any hazards, wear and tear and damages. It is the Council's responsibility to ensure that this play area is a safe environment for your little ones to play. Council also have a full annual external inspection to check on safety of all equipment.
